Reunited with an old film school alumnus on his first feature.

CAD plans are always incredibly useful for visualisation work. There is nothing better than building a location to the correct specifications.

Visualisation once again proves incredibly useful to deconstruct an idea from script to screen, they say ‘A picture is worth a thousand words’.

After the line ups had been matched to the CG model, I produced a series of draw overs to show how to achieve crowd replication.

The theater could seat several hundred and we only filmed 60 extras. Some clever slight of hand was in order.

The indie film mantra is all about wearing many hats, I was asked by the director to see if I could perform a little cosmetic surgery to a couple of shots. The task was to remove regional Italian transport branding, the thing to remember with intellectual property is “If in doubt, paint it out”

The two shots were relatively simple, I used AE to paint out the logos on bus and generated a tiny portion of roto for the man crossing frame.
